Trackmaster were engaged by Conica AG to provide surveying, line marking, in situ and laboratory testing of the newly resurfaced facility. Additional consultation was also provided by Trackmaster to support the set out and joining locations of red and grey surface areas throughout the track installation of the CONIPUR Vmax system.
Home of World Athletics, the Monaco stadium would be host to the Herculis EBS Wanda Diamond League meeting in mid 2020. Whilst the initial meeting was planned to take place in July, the global COVID-19 pandemic delayed the completion of the reconstruction slightly, however with a dedicated team of contractors and new safety protocols implemented the project was successfully completed in time for the 14 August 2020 to start the prestigious event.
IAAF CLASS 1 CERTIFICATION
As of 2020, Trackmasters have been responsible for the certification of over 40% of the worlds Class 1 athletics tracks. All athletics tracks intended for use in international competition must conform to the stringent requirements for accurate measurement as stated in the World Athletics rules and in the Track and Field Facilities Manual.
With the technology to capably perform in situ testing of the CONIPUR Vmax system, Trackmasters were able to successfully measure, analyse and report on the newly installed surface, ensuring it met World Athletics Class 1 certification requirements.

ADDITIONAL PROJECT DETAILS
The Stade Louis II underwent the installation of a brand new athletics track and the latest generation of LED lighting. Forming part of a broader Fontvieille district renovation for the modernization of the Principality, the upgrade of athletic facilities were completed in time to host the Herculis Diamond League event on the 14 August 2020.
